Stir the ink thoroughly before mixing. Weigh the following components accurately to ensure optimal cross-linking:
Once the D-313 Promoter is added, the mixed ink has a maximum shelf life of approximately 30 days. Do not mix more than needed for your production run.
🧵 Crucial Mesh Selection Guide
- Standard Colors: 300-350 mesh. (Lower mesh will cause curing failure).
- JE-10 & JE-20 (Fine Sands): 200-300 mesh. (Too high causes clogging; too low weakens sand effect).
- JE-30 (Medium Sand): 150-200 mesh.
- JE-40 (Coarse Sand): 100-120 mesh.
- JE-920 (Refractive): 300-420 mesh Refractive pattern screen.
🧪 Master Class: Controlling JE-1200 Ice/Flower Texture
The size of the "Ice/Flower" pattern using JE-1200 depends heavily on 4 strict variables. To maintain consistent texture size, you must lock in these parameters:
- Mesh Size: 150-300 mesh. (Lower mesh = Larger pattern).
- Viscosity: Thicker ink = Larger pattern. Thinner ink = Smaller pattern.
- Printing Speed: Faster squeegee speed = Larger pattern.
- Curing Delay: The longer the wait time between printing and entering the UV machine, the Larger the pattern.
