No. Silicone inks require thermal curing (baking) rather than UV light to trigger the cross-linking process with the silicone substrate. We strongly recommend baking the printed items in an industrial oven at 120°C - 150°C for 10 to 15 minutes.
Q: Does it resist daily sweat and cosmetic products?
Yes, this is a critical requirement for wearable devices. The cured ink layer easily passes rigorous 48-hour artificial sweat tests and shows excellent resistance to daily lotions, perfumes, and hand sanitizers.
Q: Do I need to apply a primer or surface treatment before printing?
No surface treatment (like flame or corona) is required for pure silicone substrates. However, ensuring the surface is completely clean and free of mold-release agents or dust prior to printing is essential for maximum adhesion.
Q: Does the ink need a catalyst?
