HF-PC Electroplating Screen Printing Ink

1. Обзор и области применения

The HF-PC Series is an advanced 2-component, reactive screen printing ink explicitly formulated for printing over delicate electroplated surfaces. It is characterized by its high opacity, smooth satin finish, and premium adhesion.

Anti-Mirror-Burn Technology: Its most critical feature is its non-corrosive chemical structure. It prevents "mirror burn"—meaning it will not etch, corrode, or dull the sensitive electroplated metal layer, fully preserving the original mirror effect.

Подходящие основания: Electroplated raw PC (Polycarbonate) sheets, PVC sheets, and Acrylic (PMMA) sheets.

2. Environmental Compliance & Colors

  • Halogen-Free (HF): Fully compliant with strict Halogen-Free industrial standards.
  • RoHS & Low Odor: Meets EU RoHS 6 standards. Formulated without benzene or heavy environmental-burden solvents, providing a friendly, low-odor work environment.
  • Available Colors: X-102 Extra White, X-702 Extra Black.

3. Mixing Instructions & Ratios

HF-PC Ink 100 деталей
B-5 Hardener 10 частей
A025 Thinner 10 - 20 Parts (adjust based on printing requirements)
Плотность сетки экрана 250–300 меш/дюйм
Важное предупреждение о растворителе: You MUST exclusively use A025 Thinner. Using any other incompatible thinner will aggressively attack the substrate, causing immediate "mirror burn" (corrosion) and severe loss of print adhesion.

Срок годности: Once the B-5 Hardener is added, cross-linking begins. At standard room temperature (25°C), the usable pot life is 4 to 6 hours. Do not use the ink beyond this timeframe, as adhesion and printability will rapidly deteriorate.

4. Strict Printing & Curing Workflow

Because electroplated surfaces are highly sensitive, standard air-drying is strictly prohibited. Operators must adhere to the following forced-baking workflow to ensure adhesion and prevent corrosion:

Step 1: The 1-Minute Rule
Immediately after printing, the substrate MUST enter the IR (Infrared) drying tunnel within 1 minute. Leaving wet ink on the surface for longer than 60 seconds drastically increases the risk of the solvents burning/corroding the mirror finish.
  • Step 2: Touch Dry (IR Tunnel): Выпекать при температуре 60°C for 8 - 10 minutes until touch-dry.
  • Step 3: Hard Dry (Oven): Transfer to an oven and bake at 60°C - 70°C for 30 - 60 minutes. This thoroughly flashes off all residual solvents. (Note: If overprinting a second layer, repeat steps 1 through 3).
  • Step 4: Final Cross-Linking: After baking is complete, let the printed pieces sit at room temperature for 24 to 48 hours. This allows the hardener to fully cross-link and achieve maximum bonding strength.
Хранение и отказ от ответственности: Store sealed ink in a cool, well-ventilated place. Shelf life is 24 months at 25°C. Due to variations in electroplating methods, coating thicknesses, and oven efficiencies, users MUST conduct pre-production trials to verify the process parameters and confirm compatibility before mass production. We assume no liability for damages caused by unverified applications.
