PVC Screen Printing Ink for Outdoor Vehicle Decals

Manufacturing graphic decals for motorcycles, e-bikes, and automotive exteriors demands an ink that can survive harsh environments. Constant exposure to UV rays, rain, and car wash chemicals often causes standard inks to crack or fade quickly. Furthermore, vehicle decals usually require a final protective clear coat, which can cause wrinkling if the underlying ink is incompatible.

Our VIC Ink Series is engineered to conquer the outdoors. It delivers industrial-grade weatherability for outdoor PVC stickers and features flawless compatibility with automotive clear varnishes, ensuring your decals stay vibrant for years.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will this ink last outdoors without fading?

The VIC series utilizes premium light-fast pigments, providing excellent outdoor weather resistance. It is formulated to withstand UV exposure and elements for over 5 years without noticeable color degradation.

Can I apply a clear coat over this printed ink?

Yes, absolutely. One of the core strengths of the VIC series is its excellent affinity with clear varnishes (topcoats). It will not repel the clear coat, ensuring a smooth, high-gloss, and fully protected vehicle decal.

Can this ink be used on PP plastics?

While standard application is for PVC and PC, you can achieve excellent adhesion on Polypropylene (PP) by adding our B-11 hardener. Please note that the PP surface must be pre-treated (flame treatment or chemical wipe) prior to printing.

Technical Notice: "5+ years outdoor durability" is based on standard vertical exposure tests using appropriate pigment densities. Actual outdoor lifespan may vary depending on local UV index, angle of exposure, and the quality of the top clear coat applied. We recommend comprehensive weathering tests for critical automotive OEM applications.
