Why Choose UV-8300-2 Series?

🛡️

100% Adhesion Rate

Passes rigorous cross-cut tape tests (1mm spacing) on properly treated PP and PE surfaces with zero peeling.

UV & LED Dual Curing

Highly adaptable photoinitiators allow lightning-fast curing (1-3s) under standard 80w/cm UV lamps or LED systems.

🧪

Ultimate Resistance

Immune to cracking, alcohol, alkali (2% NaOH), salt water, and neutral detergents. Perfect for bathroom products.

🌍

Global Compliance

Strictly meets EU RoHS and Japan ST Heavy Metal standards. Safe for international export packaging.

Application Guidelines

1

Crucial Surface Treatment

PP and PE must be flame or corona-treated to achieve a surface tension of ≥ 40 dynes/cm². For PP, a chemical primer/treatment solution can also be used.

2

Proper Ink Preparation

Stir well before use. Add 5-8% UV-SL thinner if the viscosity is too high. Avoid over-thinning to prevent incomplete UV curing.

3

Screen & Squeegee Setup

Use 420 mesh/inch (or finer) screens and ≥75° hard PU squeegees. Thick ink films will block UV light and ruin bottom-layer adhesion.

4

Enhancing Water Resistance

Add 5-8% B-5 hardener for extreme water resistance (optimal after 7 days). Mixed ink must be consumed within 8 hours.

5

Multi-Layer Strategy

Reduce UV lamp intensity for the first color layers to prevent over-curing, ensuring the subsequent layers bond perfectly.

6

Metallic & Pearl Mixing

Mix 901 Gold Varnish with ~10% metallic powder (≥1200 mesh) + 2% SD-Dot Paste to prevent sedimentation. Use within one week.
