NTN Series Protective Glass Backing Ink
The NTN Series is engineered exclusively as a robust backing layer for color crystal glass. With zero yellowing at 180°C and surface tension exceeding 40 dynes, it provides the perfect foundation for double-sided tape and structural adhesives in home appliances.

180°C Anti-Yellowing
White and Clear varnishes exhibit zero color shift or yellowing even when baked at 180°C for 30 minutes. Perfect for multi-layer curing processes.
>40 Dynes Surface Tension
Unlike standard inks, NTN cures with a high surface tension, ensuring flawless, permanent bonding with industrial double-sided tapes and glues.
Extreme Chemical Resistance
Provides robust protection against MEK solvent (200+ rubs), boiling water (1 hour), 5% Sulfuric Acid, and 5% Sodium Hydroxide.
Excellent Interlayer Adhesion
Specifically designed to bond perfectly over NHB and NCD series glass inks, completing the protective barrier for appliance panels.
Ideal for Home Appliance Glass
The standard choice for backing and protecting decorative graphics on color crystal glass.

Mixing & Processing Guide
Strictly follow the 2K formulation and baking schedule for optimal chemical resistance.
Mixing Formula (2K)
You MUST use the dedicated JD-100 Slow Thinner. Using other thinners may cause screen blocking, or cause White ink to turn yellow during baking.
Baking & Curing Test
NTN Ink is designed as the final backing layer. It MUST be fully baked to achieve its high surface tension and chemical resistance.
🧪 How to Test for Full Cure:
Soak a cotton cloth in MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone). Apply 2-3 kg of pressure and rub the ink surface back and forth 100 times (1 rub per second).
Pass: Ink is intact (fully cured).
Fail: Ink wipes off (requires longer/hotter baking).
Secure Your Glass Panels with NTN
Don't risk tape failure or backing discoloration. Upgrade to NTN Glass Backing Ink for ultimate adhesion and 180°C anti-yellowing performance.
