EPA - Multi-Purpose Screen Printing Ink

1. Overview & Applications

EPA Ink is a premium 2-component, multi-functional screen printing ink. It offers excellent adhesion and chemical resistance on a wide variety of challenging substrates, including hard-coated (abrasion-resistant) PC and Acrylic, metals, glass, ceramics, melamine products, baked enamel surfaces, vacuum metallized surfaces, UV-coated surfaces, engineering plastics, and treated PP/PE.

Primary Applications: Widely used in electronics, hardware, appliances, eyewear, and packaging.

Finish Flat (Matte)
Adhesion (Cross-Hatch Test) 3M Tape Peel Test: 100% Retention
Pencil Hardness 3H (200g/45° angle)
Abrasion Resistance EF74 Eraser, 500g load, 300 cycles: No breakthrough
Alcohol Resistance Cotton swab with alcohol, 500g load, 200 cycles: No breakthrough
Acid Resistance Soaked in 5% H₂SO₄ solution (room temp) for 8 hours: No abnormalities
Water Resistance Soaked in tap water (room temp) for 6 days: No abnormalities
Grease Resistance Soaked in salad oil (room temp) for 8 hours: No abnormalities
Environmental Compliance Complies with EU RoHS standard

3. Product Models & Color Series

Includes 42 standard colors covering basic shades, high opacity bases, metallics (silvers/golds), and fluorescents. All colors are tested to comply with EU RoHS and Japan ST heavy metal standards. Pantone color matching data available upon request.

4. Mixing & Processing Instructions

EPA Ink Base 100 Parts
E-8 Hardener 15-20 Parts
Thinner Options 20-30 Parts. Choose EPS-100 (Standard) or EPS-200 (Slow-Dry).
Preparation Mix thoroughly and let the mixture stand for 20 minutes before printing.
Pot Life (Usable Time) 6 to 8 Hours after mixing.
  • Drying Conditions (Plastics/Metallized): For hard-coated PC, Acrylic, and Vacuum Metallized parts, bake at 70°C-80°C for 60-90 minutes.
  • Drying Conditions (Metals/Glass): For Metals, Glass, and Ceramics, bake at 130°C-150°C for 30 minutes.
  • Shelf Life: 2 Years (stored cool, dry, sealed).
