HF-OTS Soft-Touch Paint Screen Printing Ink
1. Overview & Applications
The HF-OTS Series is an advanced, highly eco-friendly screen printing ink explicitly formulated for plastics that have been treated with soft-touch paint (velvet paint) or PU paint. It provides exceptional adhesion, high surface hardness, and superior scratch resistance.
Applicable Substrates: Plastic components pre-sprayed with soft-touch (velvet) coatings or Polyurethane (PU) paint.
Environmental Profile: Engineered to meet the most stringent global environmental regulations. It is 100% free of heavy metals, Halogens, Phthalates, Benzene, and PAHs (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons).
2. Physical & Chemical Performance
Testing Conditions: 200-350 mesh screen, proper hardener ratio, forced-baked according to specifications.

3. Color Series
The HF-OTS series offers a wide spectrum of colors, including stunning metallic and pearl finishes that adhere perfectly to soft-touch surfaces.
- Standard Colors: X-102 Extra White, X-202 Original Yellow, X-301 Bright Red, X-401 Purple, X-502 Heliogen Blue, X-702 Extra Black, X-901 Varnish Base.
- Metallic Colors: X-A01 to X-A09 (Fine Flash Silver, Bright Silver, Dark Silver, Red Gold, Cyan Gold).
- Pearl & Chameleon: X-B10 to X-B29 (Pearl Silver White, Chameleon Red/Green/Purple, Bronze, Satin Gold).
4. Mixing & Processing Instructions
To achieve the stated physical and chemical resistances, HF-OTS must be processed as a 2-component ink using the exact ratios below.

| Pot Life | 4 to 5 hours at 25°C. Do not use after this period as adhesion will severely drop. |
Processing & Curing Guidelines
- Screen Mesh Count: 200 - 350 mesh/inch. Suitable for both screen printing and pad printing.
- MANDATORY Forced Baking: For optimal adhesion, alcohol resistance, and 2H hardness, the printed parts MUST be baked at 80°C for 60 to 120 minutes, followed by 48 hours of resting at room temperature.
- Air Drying Warning: If baking is not possible, the ink can air dry (Touch dry: 30 mins; Hard dry: 48 hrs; Full cure: 1 week). However, natural air drying will result in a noticeable reduction in abrasion and alcohol resistance.
- Abrasion Resistance Upgrade: To further boost extreme scratch resistance, add 5% - 10% OTS Abrasion-Resistant Paste to the ink mixture.
- Storage & Shelf Life: Store in a cool, dry place. Shelf life is 1 year. (Note: The U-66 Hardener must be sealed immediately after use to prevent gelation from moisture exposure.)
