JM Series - Mirror Screen Printing Ink
1. Overview & Applications
The JM Mirror Ink Series is a highly functional decorative screen printing ink designed to produce premium mirror or platinum effects on surfaces. It exhibits excellent adhesion to both tempered and non-tempered glass.
Primary Applications: Home appliance glass, decorative interior glass, craft glass, and touch screen glass panels.
Environmental Compliance: Formulated with eco-friendly raw materials, fully complying with EU RoHS directives regarding heavy metals and halogen (chlorine and bromine) limitations.
2. Product Models & Color Tuning
Depending on the silver paste content and desired brightness, the series offers three distinct models (listed from standard to ultra-bright):

Tinted Mirror Colors
By blending the JM Mirror Ink with our 3D-TM Transparent Color Paste Series (available in Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Black, and Purple), users can easily achieve a wide variety of stunning, tinted metallic mirror finishes.
3. Printing Parameters & Drying Conditions

4. Processing Guidelines & Backing Ink (Cover Ink)
- Low-Speed Stirring ONLY: The ink must be stirred thoroughly before use. If using a mechanical mixer, strictly use low-speed settings. High-speed mixing will shear and destroy the metallic pigment structure, causing the ink to lose its mirror effect.
- Thinner Usage: Generally, no thinner is required for initial use. If viscosity adjustment is necessary, use ONLY JM-Thinner. Using non-compatible thinners will degrade the mirror effect and adhesion.
- Ink Recycling Warning: Mirror inks that have been left on the screen for long periods become highly thixotropic (flow-resistant). It is risky to dilute old ink aggressively for large-area printing. Always mix recycled ink with fresh ink (keeping fresh ink as the majority). Do not load excessive amounts of ink onto the screen at once.
Protective Backing Ink Recommendations
Mirror inks inherently have low surface hardness and weak chemical/friction resistance. To protect the mirror finish, a Backing Ink (Protective Cover Ink) must be printed over the cured mirror layer. The following are recommendations based on application:
