PPEX - High Gloss Screen Printing Ink
1. Overview & Applications
The PPEX Series produces a printed layer with extremely high gloss, exceptional smoothness, and a slippery feel. It combines excellent abrasion resistance with flexibility, while maintaining a low-odor profile.
Primary Applications: PP paint buckets, PP cups, bottles, beer crates, battery cases, and corrugated plastic boxes. Bonds excellently to treated/untreated PP and treated PE.

3. Processing & Additive Guidelines
- Thinner Selection: Strictly use PPEX-3000 (Slow), PPEX-2000 (Medium), or PPEX-1000 (Fast). Using incompatible thinners (like 783) will diminish gloss and may cause greasy surface residue.
- Mixing Ratio: Add ~30% thinner by weight. Insufficient thinner will cause a micro-orange peel effect.
- Retarder Gel (PP-Thinner Paste): When printing fine details or halftones to prevent stringing, add PP-Thinner Paste. Note: This will slightly reduce gloss and tape-peel adhesion.
- Matting Agent (XG-33): For a matte or semi-gloss finish, mix in XG-33 Matting Paste. This does not affect adhesion.
